But so does other soundbars in this price range and they do tv and movies better than the BAR 1000. 
I choose the JBL over other soundbars because I wanted something that would double as a party speaker like my last soundbar did, and did very well and it only had 570 watts and a 8 inch subwoofer. The BAR 1000 has 880 watts 

I&amp;rsquo;m disappointed in the BAR 1000 max volume &#40;which is only 32&#41; for music as it seems like it&amp;rsquo;s being restricted and really isn&amp;rsquo;t any louder than my old sound bar that&amp;rsquo;s $1000 cheaper. I wonder if JBL is limiting the power to protect the 2 year warranty?

The Bass is also not as impressive as the specs suggests even playing around with the EQ bass levels.

I believe for the price there are better options and I wish I could exchange it or get a refund&lt;/span&gt;
